Slinky is the man!

We just had a great day even though it´s still raining gatos y perros! We signed up for a bike tour with this guy, slinky meister, who kind of runs his own shop. It was just him and me and Crissy and we met him around 1 and just got back at about 5.30. We went all over Barcelona and saw things I didn´t even know existed here. Really cool parks, very cool lunch, and then got recommendations for churro and tapas places for later tonight. Crisita almost fell on her bike. My camera was ready but she regained her balance!

We are really starting to embrace the Spanish lifestyle. Woke up around 11.30 this morning, had lunch around 4 and are about to settle down for a nice siesta. I´m going to try to post some pics from the trip so far. Oh, and obviously had a couple of drinks yesterday when I posted. The problem, if you would call it a problem, with ordering wine here is that you can´t really get it by the glass. So we typically have a bottle of wine for lunch or for snack time. Today we only had coffee and tea though. The waitress thought crissy was crazy for ordering coffee during her meal. Very American of her to not wait until after the meal.

Yesterday was a gorgeous sunny day and Crissy and I walked all over the place. Went to the Gaudi park which was awesome and then went down by the water for cheese and wine and then did some shopping. Shopping after wine = great decisions at the time. Ha!

Miss you all! And GO SPIDERS!!!!!!

Are you traveling outside of Barcelona or is the whole trip there? Tell us something else about Barcelona as far as how it is different from Spain. Aren't they actually two different things in a way? Clarify for your old mom.
